Location of University of Valencia

This master (60 ECTS) and PhD results from the merger of the Inter-Department Third Cycle Mathematics programme run by Universitat de València (quality mention) and the PhD Programme on Multidisciplinary Mathematics of Valencia´s Polytechnic University (quality mention).

It is addressed to graduates in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Experimental Sciences, or Engineering.

It intends to become a reference masters for the training of future researchers in mathematics and its applications in the Valencian region.

The general objectives of the master are:

* · To train new researchers through the production of a PhD thesis after earning the necessary academic and research credits.
* · To acquire high-level mathematical tools for different applications, fulfilling the expectations of graduates in mathematics and other basic sciences.
* · To promote the use of advanced mathematical techniques in the scientific activities of Institutes, Laboratories, Research Centres, and Non-conventional Research Structures of the Valencian region
* . To gradually incorporate lecturers from other national and foreign universities into the Programme.
* · To maintain the supply and reinforce links with Latin American universities, attracting their best students so that they can have PhD qualifications and go back to their universities of origin.

The maximum number of students is restricted to 30
