Vintage master is a 4 semester course for 120 ECTS.
Teaching periods are in 3 different countries, there are 2 foreign languages and 1 study trip in 2 or 3 countries.
The objective of this program is to form executives of the international wine sector able to innovate, optimise and improve quality in vine growing and oenology.
By combining scientific and technical training and professional experience, the philosophy of the course is to prepare the future graduates to the realities of the wine sector.
The participation of professionals as well as the many case studies enable the students to confront the problems of the profession and make it possible for them to define their professional project.
Among the topics, one finds:
* Economics and marketing of wine.
* The relation between the quality of the grape and the quality of the wines - Influence of the soil.
* Producing wines in the respect of the environment.
* Strategies of national and international wine sectors.
* Reasoning the training systems for a quality grape.
* This course being international, the modules are held taught in a minimum of three countries among the following :
Spain (Valencia)
France (Angers)
Hungary (Budapest)
Italy (Bologna and/or Piacenza)
Portugal (Vila Réal)
The modules are:
* 2 languages applied to the vine-growing and winemaking sector (5 weeks, 10 ECTS)
* European terroirs (3 weeks, 6 ECTS)
* World wine economy and organisation of wine producing areas and wine marketing strategies of the wine-making industry (4). (12 weeks, 24 ECTS)
* Viticulture and environnement (6 weeks, 12 ECTS)
* Study trip (3 weeks, 8 ECTS)
* Oenology (9 weeks, 18 ECTS)
* Preparing for the professionnal project (4 weeks, 8 ECTS)
* The professionnal project (6 months, 34 ECTS)
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.
Take testApplicants must have completed a higher education degree in science or economic sciences, such as :
- a "Bachelor of Science" (a three-year scientific or economic course) minimum
- a French "licence" at the minimum
- an equivalent diploma from another European country.
