Domus Academy offers students the opportunity to access a number of services to further support their training path:
* a library , which boasts an archive of over 4000 titles and 5000 magazines;
* two laboratories (Fashion and Design Labs), equipped with several
* ICT : access to network services and workstations equipped with wireless supports for Internet access; a Helpdesk service to get information in case of hardware problems.
Career Service The Career Service of Domus Academy helps students in their transition phase towards the professional world through orientation, assistance and tutoring.
The Career Service settles up meeting with the student to define his/her professional goals on the basis of his/her curriculum vitae, background, attitudes and opportunities the job world is offering. The department helps the students in filling in a personal cv, gives suggestions on how to write an effective motivation letter and how to build a portfolio of projects. It also gives suggestions on how to tackle an interview with a Company or a Studio through the identification of key messages, strengthens and objectives.
It plays an important role in the post-master phase, guiding student in the identification of his/her potentialities on the basis of his/her technical and creative skills combined with results obtained throughout the academic year.
Accomodation / Housing Service
The Housing Service, effective from the official enrolment day, supports students with the search of an accommodation for the period of their stay in Milan, playing an intermediary role between them and real estate agencies and private individuals.
The city of Milan offers housing solutions that meet economic and personal needs: apartments, single or shared rooms. The cost varies according to the type of accommodation and the area in which the student wants to live.
The school attracts students from all over the world. All the activity of Domus Academy is designed as a laboratory for research and exploration of future scenarios. The presence of multidisciplinary teams, students from all over the world and the vocation to research, typical of Italian design, are the most important elements, which characterize the work and study environment of the school.
