The London Institute of Technology (LIT - London Branch) was set up as a training and research consultancy in 1987. The institute revels in an international environment which stimulates global understanding of business management and technological systems. LIT offers graduate and research programs as well as highly developed management courses for executive managers and tailor made courses in management information systems for specific companies.
LIT Distance Learning Program is highly competitive and based on years of exprience delivered from well reputed universities which have been leading in this area. it has a large number of students from South East Asia, the Middle East and USA.
The growth of international business and transfer of technology between and among countries have also generated the desire and need for greater educational activities within the world context. LIT has from the beginning followed this rationale and attempted to effectively work towards Global Educational Partnerships.
LIT has developed educational partnerships with institutes in India, Middle East, Bangladesh and America. These parterships provide students both at LIT and in its affiliated institutions with an understanding of the nature of international businesses, the scope and constraints under which they develop and the role and significance of various cultures in promotion of global business trends. LIT global partnerships are reciprocal. Students have the opportunity of exchange visits to these institutes, obtain credit transfer within the framework of these institutes' regulated policies or more informally obtain useful research and business data.
