Our economy is changing, as are the methods of acting, viewing, speaking and managing in the business environment.
Each of us individually and collectively must face up to the new challenges of growth, innovation, the environment, consumption, social links, governance… challenges that bring us back to reality. Today’s reality but also that of tomorrow for which we will be ready and capable of adapting, inevitably incorporating new dimensions….
At ESCEM, our desire is to accompany you on this journey.
By centering our teaching and mission on strong values of Commitment, Integrity, Curiosity and Humility, we hope to shape our graduates into managers who will contribute to changing the world by thinking outside the box.
Knowing how to listen to and make the most of differences, supporting CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) and opening up to different cultures and other ways of acting and believing, are the keys that will help to give meaning to our action.
Our programs, accessible to people of all ages, will enable you to share a different vision of management with our 13,700 graduates, 2,800 students, 70 full-time faculty and 400 partner businesses.
What drives us today, as it did in the past, is the desire to offer a new approach that is both humanist and pragmatic that we know is essential for the balance of our economies and this through our projects and strategic direction but also our curricula and areas of development.

Our Facilities
Particular attention is paid to the flourishing and personal development of students for the duration of their course, in order to give them the best chance of success. With this in mind, they are offered a good social and working environment, human resources and technical resources.
Beneficial environment
Students living in Tours or Poitiers benefit from a richly historic cultural and architectural heritage.
These regions house 3 competitivity clusters. A dense covering of dynamic businesses enables students to contribute to the construction and creation of innovative projects produced through a partnership arrangement between businesses and research laboratories.
The geographic situation of the two campuses in Tours and Poitiers and the Paris offices offers students combined benefits in terms of quality of life and proximity to the headquarters of major groups in Paris.
Stage for discussion and debate
Several hundred foreign students from all over the world and representing over 40 different nationalities, study and mingle with each other every day on the ESCEM campuses. This cosmopolitan environment encourages the mixing of populations and promotes multicultural exchange. Every day, conferences, debates and colloquia are open to a varied public and contribute to the group’s radiating intellectual influence and to the cultural enhancement of the region.
Human resources
Foreign students arriving and students going abroad on exchanges are supported by the International Exchanges Department team who offers them guidance on their ventures. The Department of Professional Integration has established a complete system to support candidates when looking for internships or seeking employment.
Community Life
For a student, creating an associative project is a way of expressing oneself and flourishing whilst giving shape to one’s passion. When confronted with situations that are identical to those encountered in the world of work, such as creating a project, managing a budget or motivating a team, the students are able to develop their professional skills.
ESCEM’s Master in Management students’ associative projects
Students of the ESCEM’s Master in Management program show their commitment with their involvement in over 40 clubs divided between 20 associations covering 5 themes: sport, humanitarian issues, business, culture and social affairs. In this way, they develop their spirit of entrepreneurship and their ability to assume responsibility. Group work meets its potential to the full through the sharing of experience and the exchange of ideas between students inter-campus and inter-year groups.
At the ESCEM’s Master and Management program, associative projects or clubs form an integral part of education and are assessed on a par with other educational activities. According to their associative involvement, students may be awarded a “Certificat de Compétence Junior” (junior competence certificate) in Associative Project or Sports Team Management; this may be included on their curriculum vitae as part of their professional experience.
Bachelor in Management (ISEME) students’ involvement
Bachelor in Management (ISEME) students invest in associative life through educational projects that form part of the SUP’ISEME association. On each Iseme campus, the students’ union is involved in organizing student life within the School: Freshers’ week, entertainment, shows, etc. As a representative body for every student, the union is responsible for establishing close relationships with Iseme management, the campuses and the faculty. Sup’Iseme also provides the support for managing the “Pops” (tutor-led projects) as well as the support for running the various clubs created on each campus.
ESCEM has set up a mechanism for supporting associative life that helps the students to take responsibility for the effective management of this legal structure, enabling them to obtain bonus credits as part of their academic course.
At ESCEM, sport is non-compulsory and is run by our two sports’ associations (BDS), one on each campus; they are affiliated to the F.F.S.U. (French University Sports Federation) and can therefore take part in various leagues and competitions (C.f. sports’ guide).
ESCEM achieved AACSB International in 2006 enabling it to reach the highest international academic standards. For its students, alumni, partners and stakeholders this international recognition is a result of the ambitious development strategy that ESCEM has undertaken over the last few years.
Today ESCEM is one of the 16 French management schools who have the AACSB accreditations.
AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) is an American association that grants internationally recognized accreditation to the best undergraduate and graduate business administration and accounting programs. It was founded in 1916 and implements very high academic standards, which focus on educational methods, research and even human and material resource management.
This accreditation means:
* Better visibility on the national but also international scene
* A guarantee of the quality and professional relevance of ESCEM’s programs
* Compliance with international standards
* Development of course content taught by highly qualified, academic and applied research-oriented faculty
* Easier access to international business networks
* Opportunities of new partnership agreements providing ESCEM with a rich exchange portfolio
