Services & Facilities
The University occupies a purpose-built 33-acre campus in the heart of Coventry city centre. The campus buildings and environment are constantly being developed and enhanced. We are investing £160m in our campus over the next ten years, including construction of a new Student Enterprise Centre and a high-tech faculty building for Engineering and Computing.
We have a 'smart campus' thanks to our investment in IT. There are more than 2,400 student PCs on site and the campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled.
The distinctive turreted building on campus is our £16m Library, which has over 1,200 study areas, 450 computer workstations and a wealth of learning materials and information services. The award-winning design maximises the natural light and ventilation, and there's a bookshop and café on site too.
One of the newest additions to the campus is our £5m Student Centre, whichbrings together a range of key student support services under one roof, so you'll always know where to go.
The Graduate Centre is a dedicated facility for postgraduate students. From pre-application enquiry though to graduation, the centre's staff will ensure that you have all the support you need. Our teaching and conference rooms are fully-equipped with modern presentation facilities and we also have private study rooms and office space available.
When you're not working, our café bar, games room, members' lounge and enclosed summer garden provide an ideal environment to mix with colleagues and friends.
An exciting development for both the University and for the City has been the creation of the 20-acre Coventry University Technology Park. It is home to the TechnoCentre, a unique complex offering a focus for training, conferences and business opportunities; the Enterprise Centre, a £3m development providing dedicated accommodation for new small- and medium-sized enterprises; and the Coventry and Warwickshire New Technology Institute, which works with companies to address skills shortages in ICT and advanced technology.
Sport and Recreation
The University prides itself on its excellent provision for sport and recreation with a wide range of facilities and services for your complete active experience.
The centre offers:

The team within the Sport and Recreation Centre encourages, supports and educates its members to take part in physical activity and regular exercise. Students' Union
Coventry University Students' Union (CUSU) looks out for students' welfare and represents students' views to the University, locally and nationally. As soon as you enrol at Coventry University you automatically become a member of this student-run, democratic organisation.
The Students' Union offeres a wealth of services, including:

Sports and social clubs
There are currently over 60 social and sports clubs available for students to join within Coventry University's Students' Union. These range from traditional team sports such as rugby, football, hockey and netball to more extreme activities like mountaineering and snow/surf/skate.

Coventry City
The student-friendly city of Coventry boasts a vibrant music scene, popular high street shops and quality bars, restaurants and clubs.
New eateries and bars are springing up in the historic Cathedral Quarter, which is located right next to the University. Our students love the fact that everything is close at hand, whether it's your accommodation, lectures, shops, sports facilities or bars.
Accommodation
At Coventry University, we have a wide variety of high quality, conveniently located accommodation, including catered halls, self-catered halls and houses. Most of our accommodation is located on campus and close to the City-centre with easy access for public transport, shops and great nightlife.
Students' Union
Run by students for students, Coventry University Students’ Union (CUSU) provides its members with everything from free, confidential advice to volunteering opportunities, clubs and societies, retail outlets and a safe social space at the student-only venue Fiftyfour.

Health and wellbeing
Coventry University recognises the importance of providing appropriate, high quality support for our students. Our network of student support services will ensure that you have the advice, information and guidance that you need to be successful. We have specialist, professionally qualified staff who can offer you personal support through counselling and chaplaincy, support for students with a disability, access to medical services, childcare and more.
Sport
Our well-equipped Sports Centre occupies a central position on campus and its provision caters for all sporting tastes. We also offer a varied recreation programme, several intra-mural leagues and tournaments in which to participate. The Sports Centre includes a fitness suite, indoor sports halls and a dance studio. Outdoor facilities are also available.
Catering
The University's catering service offers a range of outlets on campus, including restaurants for the residents of our catered halls, a Fair Trade coffee shop, a sandwich shop and a licensed cafe-bar.
