Since 2004 the CRC is a collaboration between the “Institut für Angewandte Managementforschung” and the “MSA AG”. The intention of this cooperation is the creation of a synergy between (applied) research and the development and evaluation of concepts, instruments and processes focusing on Leadership Development, Human Resources, Organizational and Corporate Development.

The CRC’s main objective is the advancement of the cooperation between science and practice and, therefore, the creation of mutual benefits. Of particular importance is the application of research results to concrete tasks in practice and thus the feedback of the results in new research and/or consulting contexts. The CRC represents an interface between science and corporate practice and combines those two aspects in a synergetic and profitable way. Continuous and enduring cooperation in the scientific area as well as with companies is therefore also very important.

For this reason, the CRC offers companies the option of cooperation contracts in the context of projects.
This special form of cooperation allows the development of a joint language and a joint understanding, which in turn simplifies the communication of everyone involved in the project and reduces friction between all project participants during the collaboration which usually lasts several years.

Aside from the exploratory focus of Applied Psychology/ Work and Industrial Psychology, the CRC focuses on interdisciplinary and sector-spanning projects, topics and questions.
Through diverse research and consulting activities throughout the last years, we have built up competences that provide sophisticated and multifaceted perspectives, particularly through interdisciplinary and sector-spanning collaborations.

The research results from qualified and scientific proceedings are summarized and transferred into practical and business-related operational guidelines.

As a business unit of the MSA AG, the CRC offers the possibility to use rooms, logistics, organization and carrying out of major projects in order to facilitate the joint exchange of experiences.
