Description
This training is clearly intended for students who are keen on space research and want to have a better knowledge of earth, stars and planets, or other galaxys.
It is aimed for those who have a real passion for observing the sky or who wish to have an in-depth understanding of the major problems related to our marine and atmospheric environment and want to know how to fight those threats !
This training is multidisciplinary: astrophysics, geophysics, fluid mechanics, earth and planetary sciences are thoroughly studied

Master in 24 months - Research focus
Two possible options :
1. Astrophysics : specialized courses in general and restricted relativity, stellar structure and evolution, extragalactic astrophysics
2. Earth & Planetary Sciences : study of earth, oceans and climate, solar winds, interplanetary environment and space meteorology, designing of digital models of earth environment.
1st year : 45 credits compulsory common core + 15 credits optional courses
2nd year : 24 credits in the selected option + 24 credits for the final thesis

Teaching language : A candidate for admission whose prior language of instruction was not French must show official proof of his or her mastery of the French language. In terms of the European reference framework, proficiency at a "B2" level is required*.
