Master in Accounting, Control and Finance

3 semesters (max. 5 semesters), 90 ECTS credits

E.g. Advanced cost accounting; market finance analysis; external auditing; strategic control; corporate finance.

Dissertation, 15 credits

Mobility

Master´s students are permitted to go on exchange for one semester. Students may go on exchange as early as their second semester but may earn no more than 30 credits at another university. The dissertation cannot be substituted.

Career opportunities

HEC Geneva graduates find work in all sectors both in Switzerland and abroad. Given the nature of the Geneva economy, opportunities are usually found in banking, financial institutions, fiduciaries, consulting firms, insurance agencies, local and international manufacturing, international trade companies (e.g. commodities trading, product distribution), international or global organisations (e.g. ICRC, UNHCR, WTO) and public administration.

Admission criteria

A Bachelor in Management or Finance, or an equivalent degree. Applicants with a Bachelor’s in another field may also be admitted upon completion of a 60-credit complementary programme.
