The Master in Political Science is a natural extension of the Bachelor in Political Science. It is designed to strengthen the training acquired at the Bachelor level, to develop research skills in political science and to prepare students for the next stage of their professional development, whether they choose to enter the labour market or pursue an academic career. The programme offers four concentrations, which consist partly of courses in two thematic areas that are taken during the first year and are mandatory for students in the relevant concentration. Students may also do a work placement.

During the online application process, applicants with a foreign degree will be charged an administrative fee of 65 CHF, to be deducted from the first-semester tuition fees.

Level of French required
  • Eliminatory general test for non-Francophones
Admission criteria
  • A Bachelor in Political Science, a Bachelor with at least 60 credits in political science or an equivalent degree in another field, upon completion of 60 credits of supplementary courses.
