The studies leading to the degree of Master of Science in Biochemistry consist of a 3-semester programme. It includes a broad selection of optional courses in biochemistry, bioinformatics, endocrinology, genetic engineering, immunology, molecular biology, molecular genetics, neurosciences, proteomics, and additional courses in chemistry. The taking of some courses in interdisciplinary topics or other areas of Science is encouraged.
The programme is complemented by two short laboratory internships (160 hours each) and one individual research project (840 hours).
The degree of Master of Science in Biochemistry is required for the follow-up studies leading to the degree of Doctorate of Science in Biochemistry.
