Lancaster University Management School is a triple-accredited, world-ranked management school, consistently among the UK's top ten. Lancaster was recently ranked one of the top ten most vibrant cities in the UK, thanks to its established arts scene and dynamic student population. It is one of the safest cities in the UK and one of the most historic. With 12,000 students at the Lancaster Campus, the University is big enough to offer an exciting student experience but small enough to be supportive and friendly.

This program is open to 5-7 students per year. Applicants are chosen after their first semester of Master in Management at KU through their high academic achievement (GPA) as well as their academic involvement.

    English Language Requirements

    You only need to take one of these language tests:

    • Minimum required score: 6

      The IELTS – or the International English Language Test System – tests your English-language abilities (writing, listening, speaking, and reading) on a scale of 1.00–9.00. The minimum IELTS score requirement refers to which Overall Band Score you received, which is your combined average score. Read more about IELTS.

      The TOEFL – or Test Of English as a Foreign Language – offers an internet-based test (iBT). The final, overall iBT score ranges between 0 and 120, and includes a scaled average from the four components (reading, listening, speaking, and writing). Read more about TOEFL (iBT).

    Academic Requirements

    Admission for Master programs at Kozminski University begins in May and is based on personal interviews.

    Candidates who apply for a Master program in the same field in which they have previously obtained a Bachelor diploma are not required to participate in the interviews.

    Foreign Candidates are admitted with omission of the above mentioned regulations in accordance with the ordinance of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Poland of September 9, 2009.

    Required documents

    Application for full-time and part-time Master programs at Kozminski University must include:

    • original high school diploma or a copy issued by the candidates high school
    • Bachelor diploma including the supplement (if the diploma was issued before 2005 supplement is not required)
    • 2 signed passport photographs
    • copy of the national ID or a passport
    • CV in English
    • at least one reference letter
    • proof of payment of the admission fee (non-refundable)
    • a certificate confirming proficiency in the English language (e.g.: TOEFL, IELTS, PEARSON, FCE) - not needed if you did your Bachelor in English
    • copy of a passport and a valid visa or residence permit
    • general health certificate
    • copy of health insurance valid in the Republic of Poland

    All documents issued in foreign languages should be translated into Polish by a sworn translator in Poland.

    1. Documents can be submitted at the Admission Office on campus of Kozminski University, room D/126.
    2. Admission decisions will be issued within two weeks after Admission Committee receives all required documents.
    3. Deadline to submit application and documents: EU citizens - 15 September, non-EU citizens - 15 August (it is suggested to apply as soon as possible because of the visa issues - the decisions will be signed at the beginning of May)
    4. The admission fee for all programs delivered in English is 750 PLN.

    Tuition fee per semester 8900 PLN.

    The cost in euros depends on the currency rate of Polish Zloty (PLN).


    1. The right for foreigners to apply for the following scholarships is defined within article 43 of the Act of Higher Education of July 27, 2005:

    • Social scholarship
    • Scholarship for students with disabilities
    • Merit scholarships and sports scholarships
    Not every foreigner is eligible for the above mentioned scholarships. Eligibility depends on their form of stay in Poland and the regulations in which admission to the University was based.

    You can be accepted to Kozminski University on the base of Regulations applying to Polish Citizens Which will give you the rights to apply for a scholarship if:

    • you are in possession of a valid CARD OF POLE “KARTA POLAKA” or,
    • you are a citizen of an EU member state, EFTA member state (party to the EEC Agreement or Swiss Confederation, i.e. Norway, Liechtenstein, Iceland or Switzerland) or you are a family member of such citizen holding permanent resident card,
    • you hold a valid permanent permit to settle in the territory of the Republic of Poland or,
    • you have a valid refugee status granted in the Republic of Poland or,
    • you are under temporary protection scheme in the territory of the Republic of Poland or,
    • you are a migrant employee and citizen of an EU member state, EFTA member state (party to the EEC Agreement or Swiss Confederation, i.e. Norway, Liechtenstein, Iceland or Switzerland or you are a family member of such person on condition that such person lives in the territory of the Republic of Poland or,
    • you hold a long term resident permit of European Communities in the territory of the Republic of Poland or,
    • you hold a temporary residence permit for one year or more issued in the territory of the Republic of Poland
    • you have been granted subsidiary protection in the territory of the Republic of Poland.
    Please note that it is very important to submit proof that you fulfil the below mentioned requirements when you apply to study at Kozminski University along with admission documents.

    2. Scholarship of Kozminski Foundation is available for every foreigner, regardless of their form of stay. In order to apply for this scholarship a student must meet both of the following two conditions: achieve a grade point average of at least 4.8 and be an outstanding achiever in the field of science, sports or organization.
