Professional field/post-graduate studies
The Master's programme prepares you for a qualified professional role within your field and/or post-graduate research studies.
The programme can lead to a Degree of Master of Fine Arts in Crafts specialization in Ceramic Art, Jewellery Art and Design or Textile Art.
Language of instruction
The language of instruction is Swedish or English depending on the needs of the students.
Collaboration with other students as well as with external partners will contribute to sharpening your awareness about your own work and the role you choose, in an artistic as well as in a social and ethical perspective. Individual studio work will be combined with individual and group-run throughs, oral and written presentations, theoretical discussions and seminars to provide students with Tools for analyzing their work.

The artistic practice is central to the education. Each student will formulate and carry through individual artistic Projects under the supervision of professors, lecturers and technicians. The programme offers you freedom to plan and structure your own studies. Independence and ability to take initiative is thus essential.
At HDK you will have access to well-equipped workshops in the central of Gothenburg.
Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts or equivalent of at least 180 higher education credits.
The selection is based on an assessment of submitted work samples.
International students should consider taking a Pre-Master to gain access to universities in Sweden when:
