In the master programme of Management of Governance Networks at Erasmus University Rotterdam you learn how to manage complex societal problems within the public sector.
How to tackle a complex societal and health problem like obesity? How do you solve the problem of youth unemployment in the EU? How do you manage the demands and needs of all the parties involved when an international airport decides to expand? Questions like these are dealt with in complex networks of actors. They are characterized by value differences between stakeholders, as well as by the effort to find adequate tailor-made solutions. In our globalized and complex network society there is an increasing need for people who have the skills to grasp complex societal problems. Experts who demonstrate analytical skills, connective leadership, entrepreneurial attitudes and a strong ethical compass to achieve innovative solutions for these problems.
