About

Through the establishment of the Adriatic-Ionian macro-region, Europe plans to reduce the distance with those countries not as yet members of the EU, with a view to future enlargement of the European Union. It also intends to promote internal stability of the Euro area and, with it, the political stability of Southeast Europe, historically the most politically fragile corner of the European continent.

Italy is the first and second largest trading partner in terms of exports for seven of the countries within the Adriatic-Ionian macro-region. The Marche region, as well as being home to institutional networks, businesses and universities of the Adriatic Ionic Macro region (Forums of Adriatic and Ionian Chambers of Commerce, Forums of Adriatic and Ionian Cities, Adriatic & Ionian Initiative, UniAdrion) has played, and continues to play a leading role in implementing the EUSAIR strategy.

It is therefore essential to be able to respond effectively to the training needs of the stakeholders, that is, private and institutional organizations, geared to operate in the macro-region in the implementation phase of the EUSAIR strategy, and to train professionals who are able to respond to these challenges.
