This specialization recruits students who have completed the first year of a scientific Master´s or equivalent and wish to obtain a highly vocational qualification in marketing and sales via an apprenticeship. The specialization enables students with a solid scientific background to obtain a second skill set in the areas of marketing and sales.
This course, whose applicants come from a wide variety of backgrounds, is the fruit of partnerships between the Pierre et Marie Curie and Paris Dauphine universities, the UPMC Apprenticeship Training Centre and the corporate sector. Teaching is therefore particularly tailored to students´ prior education and/or career path.

Opportunities
Students on the Master´s in Marketing and Sales graduate having already obtained professional experience. First jobs correspond to clearly identified roles within the corporate sector: sales engineer, key account manager, sales technologist, product manager, etc. These positions are likely to be held in companies marketing chemical or biological products or products with a high technology content. For example, the biotechnology sector is a high-potential sector for graduates of this Master´s degree. A twin scientific and management qualification is an essential ingredient for success in this area.
In general terms, the specialization is structured as the second year of a Master´s degree, spread across two semesters (M2-S1 and M2-S2), with the timetable alternating weekly between university and work placement with an apprenticeship-type employment contract.
The teaching staff of Paris-Dauphine University plays an active role in teaching alongside professionals chosen for their experience in the business world.

Admissions
Master 1 level majoring in sciences, or an engineering qualification. The level of English is assessed at enrolment and management training aptitude tests are taken.
