During the Master’s Degree Programme in Educational Sciences at University of Jyväskylä  students will gain a broad understanding of the field of education with a particular awareness of international issues in education.

 Students will have the opportunity to specialize in areas of education which they find the most relevant and interesting. Students will acquire scientific expertise in the field of education and be able to work with theories and analyze and develop educational practices.

 The Master’s Degree creates a foundation for producing scientific knowledge and applying scientific methods in practice in the field of education. The programme prepares experts into various sectors of education in national and international contexts: educational planning, administration, consultancy, coordination, development, teaching and research.

    The IELTS – or the International English Language Test System – tests your English-language abilities (writing, listening, speaking, and reading) on a scale of 1.00–9.00.     The TOEFL – or Test OF English as a Foreign Language – offers a paper-based test (PBT). The final, overall PBT score ranges between 310 and 677, and is based on an average taken from the three test components (listening, structure, and reading).   • Minimum required score:

    92
