You will develop a critical stance towards translation and, through your work, you will contribute to shed light on the unsolved questions of Translation and Interpreting Studies. Through your work, you will join forces with other students and scholars to build the knowledge every occupation needs in order to achieve professional status.

University Master's Degree in Translation and Interpreting Research lets you focus your research on a professional field of translation or interpreting and to further your own interests in your work. Core courses will develop a first theoretical and methodological basis and elective courses will provide you with further skills to outline a specific area before starting an independent project. In your Final Master's Essay, you will be guided by one of our professors and you will be able to work with our research groups. They will help you contribute to the establishment of Translation and Interpreting Studies.

University Master's Degree in Translation and Interpreting Research will provide you with key research skills to continue your studies in the framework of a PhD program and prepare a dissertation. It will further help you develop essential skills in today’s translation market, such as critical thinking and complex task management.
