The MSc in International Management / CEMS MIM is suitable for business graduates with excellent interpersonal and business communications/language skills and a strong desire to succeed in the international arena.
What is MSc in International Management / CEMS MIM?
The MSc in International Management / CEMS MiM is a one year Masters qualification. On successful completion of the programme, students are awarded an MSc in International Management from UCD and an MiM from the CEMS community of business schools. CEMS is a strategic alliance of leading business schools and multinational organisations.
In 2009, the CEMS MiM was ranked as the number one Master in Management (MiM) programme by The Financial Times. In 2010, it ranks number 2 in the MiM Financial Times global ranking. ObjectivesThe objective of this programmes is to forge a bridge between the academic and corporate worlds and to nurture students´ ability to successfully engage within cross cultural settings. Consequently, the programme offers a mix of components that seek to blend academic rigour with practitioner experience.
It is internationally focused, interdisciplinary, highly interactive and aims to equip students with the necessary analytical and cross cultural skills required to work within the international management domain. We place a high importance on language and practical skills, which are essential to kick-start your professional career and adjust to an international management environment.

You will gain an advanced appreciation for the interdisciplinary nature of international management and through your interactions with international companies and colleagues, develop the interpersonal/inter cultural skills that are required to succeed within an international business context.

The MSc in International Management / CEMS MIM is a one-year, full-time programme broken down into two semesters. You will be assessed through a combination of written examinations and continuous assessment.Your first semester is based in UCD Smurfit School where you will complete the core modules of the programme and two option modules.Your second semester is based at a CEMS partner university in Europe where you will take a minimum of one course and complete a business project. Curriculum The CEMS students must complete core and option modules. Students will also complete a business project, ten-week internship and dissertation as part of the programme.

* A minimum second-class honours (Grade 1) degree in business or a related discipline or
* An honours Higher Diploma in Business Studies and
* You must be fluent or have a high level of proficiency in three languages (one of which must be english) before you commence this Masters programme.
