The MSc in International Accounting and Finance with a specialisation in Strategic Finance Practice teaches financial management through applied practice within the corporate financial environment and financial markets. You should graduate from this course as an adept financial decision-maker, ready to take on high-level positions in global organisations. The programme looks at treasury management, capital structure, and market theory, and how these strategic financial practices tie in with core accounting competencies. Specialist modules include International Corporate Finance, Risk Management and Ethics, and Entrepreneurial Finance.
All online MSc in International Accounting and Finance programmes are covered by the University of Liverpool Management School’s AACSB Accreditation.
The online MSc in International Accounting & Finance - Strategic Finance programme has six core modules and two specialisation modules, and culminates in a dissertation. The first module takes ten weeks. Each subsequent module lasts eight weeks.
Students start with an orientation of the online classroom.

Please note all modules are not guaranteed to be offered in any calendar year and current scheduling may be subject to change.
Students refine their dissertation topic in conjunction with their Personal Dissertation Advisor, an academic supervisor who will provide support throughout the writing process. The dissertation has to be on a topic appropriate to the Strategic Finance Practice specialisation.
A Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university or a degree from a recognised institution comparable and/or equivalent to a British Honours degree.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Since April 2014 the ETS tests (including TOEFL and TOEIC) are no longer accepted for Tier 4 visa applications to the United Kingdom. The university might still accept these tests to admit you to the university, but if you require a Tier 4 visa to enter the UK and begin your degree programme, these tests will not be sufficient to obtain your Visa.
No work experience is required.
If you intend to apply for MSc in Global Human Resource Management, MSc in Global Marketing, MSc in International Management, MSc in Project Management, MSc in International Accounting & Finance or MSc in Corporate Finance it is possible to commence one of these programmes without any work experience if you hold a related degree.
