MSc Cross-Cultural Marketing and Negotiation programme equips students with the skills required for successful marketing and negotiation in an international environment.

By adding a truly cross-cultural perspective to their business education, this programme prepares students to communicate with culturally diverse business partners as well as to successfully cooperate with and lead multicultural working groups.

Two academic semesters (September - January and January - May) on the Campus of Caen, Normandy, France including


The Master’s Degree in Cross-Cultural Marketing and Negotiation meets the demands of professionals in the area of higher education. After a period of integration, future graduates will be able to target a variety of career opportunities such as:

  • Product Manager,
  • Category Manager,
  • Business Manager,
  • International Brand Manager,
  • International Sales Manager,
  • International Project Manager,
  • International Marketing Consultant,
  • Export/Import Consultant…


Five Core Modules

  • International Business Environment
  • Negotiation in Cross-Cultural Context,
  • Marketing in Cross-Cultural Context,
  • Intercultural Processes in Human Interaction
  • Region Specific Issues (Options: Asia Pacific, North America, South America...)

Other Compulsory Modules

  • Introductory seminar,
  • Career Management,
  • Methodology and information literacy,
  • Foreign language :français, allemand, espagnol, chinois;
  • 20,000 word dissertation
  • The language of instruction and assessment is English.
Professional development
  • Monitored Junior Consultancy Project (5 weeks): Cross-Cultural Marketing and Communication
  • Challenge (2 weeks): Cross-Cultural Negotiation and Communication
  • Work Placement: Minimum of 5 months: June - December (to be served anywhere in the world)


  • BA Honours degree / Master 1 or equivalent.
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent.
  • Other applicants with non-relevant qualifications but with extensive industry experience will be considered on an individual basis.
  • The admission decision is taken after :
    • Close evaluation of the application form including CV, personal statement and reference letters.
    • Interview with a commission.

English language requirement

TOEFL CBT 230, or IBT 88 or TOEIC 790 or IELTS 6,5 overall and 6 in writing or equivalent.
