Description

* MSc: 12 months full-time; 24 months part-time.

Teaching is through a combination of lectures, seminars, projects, study trips and fieldwork. At as a graduate of the programme you will

* be able to demonstrate an understanding of the conceptual and methodological bases for conducting high-quality investigations in the context of carbon management
* be able to analyse the ethical considerations relevant to carbon management in an occupational or professional context
* be able to apply the tools employed for tackling greenhouse gas emissions
* be able to evaluate the effectiveness of different strategies employed to tackle greenhouse gas emissions
* have the knowledge and technical ability to assess and advise on carbon management.

* Environmental ethics and behavioural change.

* Climate change: impacts on ecology
* Sustainable Buildings
* Environmental economics
* Sustainable energy technologies

* Policies for sustainability and development

Other optional courses are available.

You will also complete either a work placement project or dissertation.

Requirements

Entry requirements for postgraduate taught programmes are a 2.1 Honours degree or equivalent qualification (for example, GPA 3.0 or above) in a relevant subject unless otherwise specified.

If your first language is not English, the University sets a minimum English Language proficiency level
