Description
This course is designed for anyone with an interest in working in the applied, research or teaching field of sport and exercise psychology, and therefore a background in sport and exercise science, sport and exercise psychology, psychology or coaching would be beneficial.
You will study the following units:
Applied Sport Psychology
Applied Research Methods
Research Project
Sport, Exercise and Performance Psychology Professional Practice Placement *

Contents
Teaching and assessment
You will be taught through a variety of formats including lectures, seminars, workshops, tutorials and a placement experience. In these sessions, you will gain experience of applying the theory and research to applied situations. The varying teaching formats are reflected in the assignments where scientific reports, reflective accounts, essays, presentations and projects are assessed.
Requirements
A 2:1 honours degree or equivalent in a sport and exercise science, psychology, sports psychology or related subject.
English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 6.5 with a minimum score of 6.0 in all individual components, or equivalent.
