* MLitt: 12 months full-time; 24 months part-time
* PgDip: 12 months full-time; 24 months part-time
* PgCert: 12 months full-time; 24 months part-time

You must complete two core courses and choose two optional courses. It is possible either to write a dissertation of 12,000-15,000 words or complete a placement.

As well as lectures and seminars, theres a focus on problem-based learning: structured around set problems that are generated from within the group or set by academic staff.

* Politics and economy of health, wellbeing and social citizenship
* Public sector systems: policy and planning.

Optional courses

* Communication and management psychology
* Making ethical judgements
* Policy and principles of research in the public sector
* Media health and wellbeing.

Requirements

You should have a first degree, or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant subject, or professional experience in a related field.

If your first language is not English, the University sets a minimum English Language proficiency level
