Description
The master of science degree is an internationally recognised advanced academic degree. Holders of an MSc degree may go on to doctoral studies at a university. The Master of Science in eBusiness program at Fulda University of Applied Sciences is similar to Anglo-American masters programs. The program participates in the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS).
The course has a duration of three semesters. Two semester with lectures and one semester for the Master's thesis.
In the focus of the studies are among others the development of Electronic Business systems, eMarketing, IT Security, modelling of business processes, Enterprise-Resource-Planning Systems.
The intensive theoratical education comes along with projects in which the theoretic knowledge has to be used in a practical way.
At the end of the programme a Master's thesis has to be prepared.

Requirements
Applicants for admission must have a first or undergraduate degree in computer science from a recognised institution of higher education. In exceptional cases also a degree from a related discipline will be accepted, if the course includes sufficient lectures of modern programming languages, data base design, software engineering, etc.
Applicants with a German degree must have at a Bachelor degree with a duration of 4 years (210 ECTS). German applicants with a 3 years Bachelor degree (180 ECTS) have to earn additonally 30 ECTS during the Master programme.
Applicants with an international degree must have at least Bachelor degree with a duration of 4 years. They do not receive an admission with a 3 years degree.
Applicants must have proficiency in English sufficient to follow lectures and do coursework (at least level B1).
