The Master ASI (Automatic control, Signal and Image) is one of the three masters of the Master in Control Engineering, Robotics and Applied Informatics. It is a common Master of Ecole Centrale de Nantes, Ecole des Mines de Nantes, and Université de Nantes.
The master ASI contains two tracks for its second year (M2) :
The quality of this master has been recognized by the European Union by supporting the masters course "EMARO+ - European Master on Advanced Robotics Plus" in the framework of the programme Erasmus Mundus.
The Master's ASI is designed to promote a high-quality educational offer for the European and international students. Students may take the master as a professional terminal degree, or join PhD programmes afterwards.
The programme of study lasts two academic years denoted by M1 and M2. The first year courses are given English, it also contains French Language course in order that the students can follow the scientific courses in French during the second year.
The programme of M1 is the same as that of Erasmus Mundus Master Emaro+ and of master ASI.
To apply for M1, students must hold a first university degree with 180 ECTS, after at least three years of university studies (at the level of bachelor of science).
Admission in M2 can be accepted for students who are fluent in reading, speaking and writing French and have a university degree with 240 ECTS after at least four years (at the level of M1).
The Master relies on the staff members and on the scientific and research facilities of the IRCCyN, "Institut de Recherche en Communication et CYbernétique de Nantes". In fact most of the lecturers of the Master courses and the supervisors of the Master thesis belong to the IRCCyN.
The IRCCyN is a common laboratory of the "Ecole Centrale de Nantes", the University of Nantes, the "Ecole de Mines de Nantes" and of the CNRS "Centre National de Recherche Scientifique". It is composed of about 250 persons, most of the researchers are well known on both national and international levels thanks to the quality of their research work.
Tuition fee for the international students.)
European Economic Area tuition fee is applicable to the students from EU countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland.)
I - Students accepted for the two years:
- Non-European union students: 12000€
- European Union students: Standard local tuition fees (about 900€)
The fees cover the health insurance and courses copies.
The Master ASI (Automatic control, Signal and Image) is one of the three masters of the Master in Control Engineering, Robotics and Applied Informatics offered by Centrale Nantes.
First semester courses (30 ECTS)
Second semester courses (30 ECTS)
The student will select 7 modules from the following:
At the end of the first year, July and August, a summer internship is encouraged but not compulsory. It is an excellent way for the students to improve their French before the second academic year. Centrale Nantes will sign an agreement with the company so that the student has a proper insurance during the internship. Centrale Nantes does not provide specific services to find internships: it is up to the student to so.
No work experience is required.
Fortunately enough I was able to find StudyPortals. Right from the start of the application to getting the confirmation of admission I was using StudyPortals.
