Company-Based Learning

In line with GGSB's objectives of offering students a career-focused innovative education, students on this programme are able to devote up to 1 year to company-based learning, either in the form of a work placement or a full-time paid internship.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Per 6 April 2015 only the English language tests from IELTS and Trinity College London are accepted for Tier 4 Visa applications to the United Kingdom. Other tests (including TOEFL, TOEIC, Pearson, City & Guilds) are no longer accepted for Tier 4 visa applications to the United Kingdom. The university might still accept these tests to admit you to the university, but if you require a Tier 4 visa to enter the UK and begin your degree programme, these tests will not be sufficient to obtain your Visa. Since the Trinity College London language tests must be taken in one of their exam centres in the UK, IELTS is now the only language test accepted for Tier 4 visas to the UK that can be taken worldwide.

Graduate Admission Tests

Minimum score: 550

The Graduate Management Admission Test® (GMAT®) is a standardised exam, delivered in English, used in admissions for thousands of business masters programmes globally. By taking this test you can show your suitability for this programme. The GMAT exam has been shown to be a valid predictor of academic performance in MBA and other business masters programmes.

Requirements for Ggsb MBA

  • Undergraduate degree (2:2 minimum) or equivalent
  • English Proficiency:
    • IELTS 6.5 - With at least 6.0 in all areas (or equivalent)
    • TOEFL - minimum score of 94 (internet-based), 240 (computer-based), or 587 (paper-based)
  • GMAT is not an obligatory requirement, but is considered an advantage and may be required for some applications. (Target score 550)
  • At least 3 years of relevant full time working experience
