Program summary: The Master of Economics (M.Ec.) teaches students the skills needed to thoroughly analyze economic issues and problems, understand and apply the relevant academic theory, and use the correct formal and empirical methods. This in turn will allow them to find creative approaches to problem solving and predict the political and social consequences of economic activity.
To this end, students will acquire profound knowledge in theoretically, empirically, and politically oriented economics as well as in one of the following specialization areas:
* Innovation and Change
* Economics and Strategy
* World Economics
Special features: This program can be completed in one year of full-time study (including the master's thesis).
Career opportunities: After graduating from this program, students will be prepared for a variety of jobs and fields of work, including leading or advisory positions in banking, corporations, universities and research institutes, ministries, and private foundations.

University degree with a duration of at least 4 years or a degree with at least 240 ECTS.
The final grade should be 2,5 or better.
Pre-education inmathematics (10 ECTS), statistics (10 ECTS), and economics (30 ECTS).
