The Master of Arts degree offers training in the following disciplines:
At the end of the first year, students decide in which discipline they will complete their dissertation and whether to choose a Master of Arts worth 90 ECTS credits or a Master of Arts with specialisation worth 120 ECTS credits.
Master of Arts students develop numerous skills that are beneficial in the professional world: independence, sense of responsibility and organisation, discernment, analytical and argumentation skills, mastery of written and oral expression.
These assets are greatly appreciated in todayís society and in fields such as the media and communications, international organisations, cultural institutions, museums, teaching, and the public and private sectors.

Before starting a programme, you need to have a basic knowledge of the French language. Find French courses on Language Learning Portal.
Candidates are eligible for enrolment in a Master programme if they hold a Bachelor degree awarded by a Swiss university or another university qualification deemed equivalent by the Rectorate in the corresponding discipline.
Candidates holding a HES* Bachelor are admitted subject to catch up the missing theoretical bases during the Master programme.

Candidates with a Bachelor in a different field from the chosen Master programme are admitted on the condition of catching up the theoretical bases before starting their studies.
The faculty regulations or study plans specify the essential theoretical bases.
