The profile is offered by the research group "International Business & Entrepreneurship" which focuses specifically on the international business activities of B2B companies within the setting of an increasingly internationalised world. The goal of the research group is to contribute to an improved understanding of the emergence and growth of firms in diverse markets, through the study of the organization of marketing and strategic activities both within the firm and through the interplay with other actors on the market.
The focus area of the profile is International Business Marketing with a distinct focus on the external stakeholders of the firm, especially the customers.
Graduates with this profile has therefore expanded their knowledge within the subjects that are relevant for this profile; retailing, services, business to business, marketing research as well as modules on other functional areas that influence management decisions in marketing. Furthermore, candidates will gain knowledge about and skills in using methods and tools which can support a career in marketing, sales, advertising or media related jobs. Finally, the student will gain competences in analyzing rules and regulations imposed by governments in order to pursue careers in a number of areas including market research, imports, consultancy, exporting services marketing, direct marketing and distribution management. Finally, the student will gain knowledge about and skills in using methods which can support a career in international or domestic markets, whether that means working with a large multi-national, a smaller company, or even new ventures.

The first two semesters comprises three compulsory courses each semester.
