About the course
3 years part time online
This fully online course is ideal for midwives everywhere who want to develop professional practice and move on in their career. You'll find a flexible programme of targeted education and the opportunity to build on your existing experience, knowledge and domain speciality.

You'll be taught entirely by online distance learning with no need to attend in person. We expect you to contribute regularly to online discussion groups.

Entry Requirements
Good first degree or equivalent. Applicants with other qualifications or relevant experience are encouraged to contact Dr Mark Hayter (see 'Contact' below).
We encourage entrants with non-standard qualifications and will consider each application in the light of its merit and the requirements of the profession. A relevant professional qualification is preferred but not essential.
Applicants whose first language is not English are required to take a suitable test, such as IELTS, minimum score 6.5; TOEFL, minimum score 575, plus a score of 4.5 in the Test of Written English, or minimum 232 in the computer-based TOEFL.
Students need to hold a recognised midwifery qualification in their own country.
You will need access to a suitable computer, with CD-ROM drive and internet connection.
