Compared to most other Masters programmes in Epidemiology in the Netherlands, in Utrecht we offer a true research master, preparing you for a career in research. Our practical approach of epidemiological research design, starting from the clinical question instead of a theoretical approach is unique in the Netherlands as well as internationally.
Youll be studying and working at the Utrecht University, the UMC Utrecht and the Julius Centerwhich is one of the most prestigious institutions world-wide in the field of clinical epidemiology and unique in its diversity. Epidemiology has intensive collaboration with research institutes throughout the world, allowing you to do your internship abroad. The Masters programme in Epidemiology is also offered on postgraduate level. This postgraduate programme in Epidemiology is offered face-to-face and online so students, in various stages of their careers, can opt for a suitable study programme.

You can choose your specialization such as Clinical Epidemiology, Infectious Diseases Epidemiology, Pharmacoepidemiology, Medical Statistics, Environmental & Occupational Epidemiology or Veterinary Epidemiology.
