This master is a comprehensive specialisation that equips you with the knowledge and skills to critically assess scientific debates and social problems relating to Latin America and the Caribbean.

Specific themes and issues covered in the courses include social and political history, culture and identity, conflict, trauma and post-conflict reconstruction, ethnicity and social movements, literature, film and media. You can focus on a social science profile(anthropology and comparative sociology) or a literature and cultural studies profile by choosing one of the two tracks: 1.
