As a master’s student you will be expected to conduct a great deal of independent work and research, supported by our experienced academic team. We will provide you with the tools to help, including an online portal, access to business databases and other research sources.
Alongside private study, you will have plenty of contact with our team of lecturers, learning through a mix of lectures and seminars. Like the real world of business, teamwork is a vital component of this course and you will be expected to work closely with your fellow students.
You will also learn from leading business men and women through our programme of guest speakers, which will enhance your understanding of the key theories and concepts.
It is also possible to obtain work experience or an internship while taking this course, and we can support you to find a suitable position.
And you will learn from staff with industry experience who are currently researching the field of international business management.
For example, the course leader, Dr Adrian Haberberg, has research interests in areas such as corporate social responsibility, strategy and small business management. Adrian has also co-authored two books on strategic management.
Minimum 2:2 with honours Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BSc) from the UK, taught in English in a relevant subject area.
Please note you would usually be expected to have at least a Grade C in English and Maths GCSE. Most programmes also accept Key Skills Level 2 Application of Number and Communication as equivalent to GCSE Maths and English.
Applications will be considered from graduates with a GCSE Maths Grade C (or equivalent) and a 2:2 honours degree or its equivalent from any discipline
