The Master Programme in Entrepreneurship at Uppsala University prepares you for a future as creator of your own company or as a business developer in already existing companies and organisations.

The programme allows you to develop your business skills, and above all to understand and manage the inevitable challenges that come with the launching and development of new business ideas. 

The programme design lets you apply the theories and tools that are taught in a real-life setting. You will be asked to develop a full-fledged business plan either for your own business idea or for an idea conceived by an inventor or company in the Uppsala region. You will also be able to do an internship that allows you to apply your acquired entrepreneurial skills through participation in a live entrepreneurial or development project.

You will enjoy the variety of backgrounds among the programme participants, which gives you access to the diverse skills and competencies that may be needed for your own entrepreneurial ventures. The relationships and personal network you will build with other programme participants will be highly valuable for your future entrepreneurial and business career.

English Language Requirements

    The IELTS – or the International English Language Test System – tests your English-language abilities (writing, listening, speaking, and reading) on a scale of 1.00–9.00.     The TOEFL – or Test OF English as a Foreign Language – offers a paper-based test (PBT). The final, overall PBT score ranges between 310 and 677, and is based on an average taken from the three test components (listening, structure, and reading).   • A Bachelor's degree, equivalent to a Swedish Kandidatexamen, from an internationally recognised university.
  • All applicants need to verify English language proficiency.
