About

Removing telecommunication technology from the modern information society is impossible. It's a dynamic area of expertise where knowledge of electrical engineering, math & IT, physics, chemistry technology and innovation sciences are combined.

Specialisations

The special Master Broadband Telecommunication Technologies from Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) has four different profiles:

  • Electrical Engineering
  • Math & IT
  • Chemistry Technologies
  • Industrial Engineering & Innovation Sciences

The contents of the program depend on the profile of the faculty where you follow this course. Within the Electrical Engineering profile, students get a broad education with a certain degree of specialisation at the end of the program and in the closing research project.

Graduated. And then?

Telecommunication is a wide area of expertise. It entails research, development and fabrication of components, equipment, materials, and systems. Furthermore, it contains hardware and software, network control, management of steering protocols, and company methods. The development and exploitation of applications is also a part of it.

Working at…

Alumni of Broadband Telecommunication Technologies work for:

  • Telecommunication companies
  • Manufacturers of materials and systems
  • Developers of applications
  • Service suppliers
  • Network installation companies
  • Exploitation companies

Alumni find a job within a year, often at university level, and with a high starting salary.
