There are eight different Master tracks. Each student, regardless of specialization, graduates with the degree “Master of Science ETH in Computer Science”. Specializations are enriched by interfocus laboratories which emphasize the design stages of computer science solutions, from modelling and algorithmics to programming and analyzing information processing results.

To be eligible for admission to a Master's degree programme at ETH Zurich you need to have a high-quality Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 180 ECTS or an equivalent first academic degree from an internationally recognized university.
The degree must be in a discipline qualifying for the chosen Master's degree programme. Your previous studies must comply in quality, depth and breadth with the requirement profile of the Master's degree programme.
Candidates from Swiss Universities of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschulen) can apply if certain conditions are fulfilled.
No work experience is required.
