In the Master in Real Estate you will take a critical look at and analyse real estate topics such as real estate management, real estate law and real estate economics. Through the involvement of experts and managers from the real estate industry, an integrated compulsory internship lasting at least six weeks in Germany or abroad and extra-curricular events including workshops, corporate visits or presentations, you will learn to apply theoretical knowledge to the practical environment. At the same time you will have the opportunity to extend your network to include our corporate partners, for example Aareal Bank, Generali Immobilien, Union Investment, to name just a few.
All courses are taught in English and in small groups to ensure high-quality learning. An integral part of the curriculum is a study experience abroad (third semester) at one of our renowned partner universities. In addition, you also have the opportunity to gain a dual degree (e.g. an MBA or a specialist Master from one of our partner universities).
Personal coaching in one-to-one talks and optimal support of personal development through modules such as Studium Fundamentale and Personal Mastery, together with a wide range of student initiatives round off the curriculum.
The modules Research Methods I & II, Studium Fundamentale I & II and Personal Mastery are compulsory in all Master's programmes. This gives you the opportunity to learn from and share experiences and ideas with students pursuing other specialist options.
There are seven compulsory courses in the Master in Real Estate: Advanced Real Estate Financing, Real Estate Valuation, Real Estate Economics, Advanced Real Estate Management, Real Estate Risk Management & Statistics, Sustainable Real Estate Development, Real Estate Investment.
The third semester is reserved for your study experience abroad and the compulsory internship. The Master’s thesis dealing with a real estate topic is written between the second and third semester, frequently in cooperation with a company from the real estate industry.
