University of New Haven, Applications of Psychology
Study can be tailored to the needs of those whose degree is in a nonpsychological field or of those with a degree in psychology who wish to broaden their skills to a new area of psychology.
Courses are selected depending upon the student’s career objectives and academic preparation. The courses may be from the contents list, but other courses, independent study, or special topics courses may be chosen where appropriate.

Minimum required score:
The IELTS – or the International English Language Test System – tests your English-language abilities (writing, listening, speaking, and reading) on a scale of 1.00–9.00. The minimum IELTS score requirement refers to which Overall Band Score you received, which is your combined average score. Read more about IELTS.Take IELTS test
Minimum required score:
The TOEFL – or Test Of English as a Foreign Language – offers an internet-based test (iBT). The final, overall iBT score ranges between 0 and 120, and includes a scaled average from the four components (reading, listening, speaking, and writing). Read more about TOEFL (iBT).
Online Graduate School Application

Official transcriptsOfficial transcripts from all undergraduate, graduate, and professional schools you have attended must be submitted to the Graduate Admissions Office. Transcripts must be received in a sealed envelope from the issuing institution. Electronic transcripts will be accepted directly from institutions that no longer mail transcripts. Please Note: Students currently enrolled in undergraduate study who have not completed their bachelor's degree can submit all transcripts to date.
Two (2) letters of recommendationRecommendations can now be provided online during the application process. Please complete the recommender information section prior to submitting your application. Once the recommender information is provided, your recommenders will receive an e-mail message with directions on how to provide the recommendation. You can submit your completed online application before online recommendations have been received.
Standardized test scores (Required by some programs)(GMAT, GRE, Praxis) if required by intended degree program (see specific program requirements below)
Resume (Recommended, but required for some programs)A resume is strongly recommended for all programs, but is required for others. Please consult the specific requirements tab below for more information. If you will be submitting a resume, please consider uploading it as part of your online application at the bottom of the employment section.

Graduate Tuition, per credit - $870
The living costs include the total expenses per month, covering accommodation, public transportation, utilities (electricity, internet), books and groceries.
Financing for this program may be available through grants, scholarships, loans (federal and private) and institutional financing plans.
