During the Master's programme in Accountancy and Control, you will learn to analyse, interpret and research the flows of financial information within and across organisations.
The Accountancy track is designed for students of Business Economics with a general and analytical interest in financial information flows between and within organisations and, more specifically, in providing information services to senior managers and other stakeholders. This track combines academic rigour with practical examples and applications, and provides admission to the post-Master Accountancy (PMA) programme (Dutch taught), leading to qualification as a chartered accountant. The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at the UvA specialises in providing students with the broad range of skills, in-depth knowledge and international expertise they will need in the business world and the public sector. One of the five research programmes is dedicated to Accounting, and students in the MSc in Accountancy & Control benefit from learning in an environment where developments in the field are constantly being explored.
