If you want to develop expertise in a particular area, perhaps with a view to an academic career or to improve your employability by developing specialist knowledge, you might like to consider the MRes Management programme.
You will gain an essential foundation for research in management with this programme, and learn how to analyse and understand management research, as well as use research techniques from the social sciences to assess management problems and research debates. When you have completed the programme, you will have acquired the abilities to organise a research project, manage self-driven enquiry and write management research.

The TOEFL – or Test Of English as a Foreign Language – offers an internet-based test (iBT). The final, overall iBT score ranges between 0 and 120, and includes a scaled average from the four components (reading, listening, speaking, and writing). Read more about TOEFL (iBT).

Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to Lower Second Class on the UK Honour scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on the UK Honour scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).
Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).
A 2:2 degree or above with honours in any discipline from a recognised University. We also welcome applications from candidates with managerial experience or relevant professional qualifications.
Applications must include an outline of intended research proposal.
