The MS in Biology of Physical Activity programme offered by University of Jyväskylä is designed to prepare students for careers in research centres, medical rehabilitation centres, sports medicine and exercise testing centres, sports academies and physical exercise and sports organisations. It also qualifies students to apply for postgraduate studies in the field.

Graduates of the programme are also qualified to apply for PhD studies at the higher education institutions in the field.
The selection process comprises of two parts:
1) Assessment of eligible applicants based on the application documents2) Skype interview
Tuition fees will be introduced only for non-EU/EEA students in Finland from August 2017 onwards. The fees will concern non-EU/EEA degree students who start their studies in English-taught Master's degree programmes in August 2017 or after that at the University of Jyväskylä.
