The international Master program Bionics / Biomimetics in Energy Systems focuses international for the first time on the area of Biomimetics and Energy. As a branch of Biomimetics, it researches energy transformations in living organisms in order to develop similar technical systems and devices for energy production.
The standard period of study in the Master's course "Bionics / Biomimetics in Energy Systems" extends over a period of four semesters and starts at the beginning of each winter semester.
As a full-time course, class attendance is a requirement.
The curriculum is modular. Each module extends over one or two semesters and includes professionally related courses, which build on each other for three semesters in the academic plan (to be distributed). The contents of the modules provide both theoretical and practical parts. Projects are largely organized on an inter-modular basis. The fourth semester is set aside for the preparation of the Master's thesis.
Academic Degree "MSc." After passing the final examination of the Master Course "Bionics / Biomimetics in Energy Systems" graduates are awarded the academic degree "Master of Science in Biomimetics".
