Master in Urban Planning and Policy Design

The Master of Science programme offered by the I School of Architecture is rooted in a polytechnic tradition, bridging urban design, regional studies and social sciences. The programme aims at developing a wide education in planning and policy making. The courses are given at the Campus Leonardo.

Master in Architecture (Milano Leonardo Campus)

In Milan the programme focuses on design at different levels, from architecture in the city, to landscape and the environment, in a sustainability context and that of a conscious relationship with history.

Master in Civil Engineering for Environmental Risks Mitigation

The programme links the fundamental disciplines of Civil Engineering (design and construction of civil, industrial and infrastructure buildings) with a broad overview of the most advanced Risk Management tools, with particular attention to forecasting and prevention issues, both for buildings and the land they are built on.

Our concept of sustainable architecture is associated with a high quality transformation of landscape, from the macro-scale of urban planning, to the micro-scale of technical details, how the varied scales connect and interrelate with each other.

The reCity is a two years-long Master of the Erasmus Mundus Program. The focus is the design of city regeneration, pursued with an holistic approach based on improving the beneficiaries’ competences necessary to be key actors within the advanced process of sustainable urban development and renewal, in terms of design, communication, building and management of the contemporary city.
