Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti Milano (NABA)

Milano, Italy
NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, is an internationally renowned art and design academy located at the center of Milan’s world-famous design scene.

Founded in 1980, NABA is the largest private art academy in Italy. It offers bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in Italian and English that are accredited by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR).

For NABA, the answer to this question is manifold. For more than 35 years, NABA has been continuously refining its unique methodology, which encompasses a wide variety of learning experiences: from theoretical lectures to hands-on practice, from individual project work to team collaboration, and from self-study to mentorship. Across these modes of study, our outstanding faculty members emphasize free experimentation and interdisciplinary innovation, and they constantly highlight connections between artistic and professional contexts.

NABA adopts an internal evaluation system of teaching and research activities, interventions on right to education and administrative management in accordance with the procedures of the Quality System UNI and ministerial regulations.

NABA prides itself on its networks with the most prestigious companies and top-level professionals, offering students the unique opportunity to develop their professional artistic competencies whilst preparing them for the world of work. Within one year of graduation 82% of students find jobs.

Student Life

Campus life

NABA’s campus is located within a historic 19th-century compound that was recently renovated with respect for its architectural value. Its 13 buildings are spread across 17,000 square meters, complete with green spaces and a garden, several specialized labs, a cafeteria, a language center, a library, student rooms, and lounges.

Sports facilities

The Office also organizes fun social activities for you to get to know other students, such as:

  • Sport Tournaments
  • Courses in well-being—Biodanza, mindfulness, and yoga—attended by students from both NABA and Domus Academy.
  • These activities facilitate friendship and reciprocity, making you and every student feel part of NABA’s large and vibrant community.

Student clubs

NABA aspires to keep our relationships with former students alive and strong. For this reason, NABA’s Alumni Association was established in 2012. The Association aims to create a community of alumni and provide a space for discussion and exchange, so that our alumni can enhance their professional development and maintain their connection with the school.

Stay in touch with us so you can find out about opportunities and events, remain in contact with your former classmates, meet and get to know more professionals in your field, and launch new collaborative projects.

NABA is a private institution belonging to the Higher Education in Art and Music (AFAM) system, a section of the Italian university system governed by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR).
