INTO London offers a wide range of academic programmes and English language courses designed specifically for international students.The courses will help you to adapt to living and studying in a UK university environment, and prepare for entry to a leading university.

INTO London teachers are qualified and friendly teachers who understand the needs of international students adjusting to the learning and teaching style of UK higher education. Throughout academic programmes, modules will be taught using a lecture and tutorial process that mirrors the style of teaching that you will encounter in university courses. Traditional teaching methods are supported by extensive e-learning provision.

Our English language courses are available in a wide range of course types to ensure students receive the highest quality teaching that addresses their specific needs and supports them in reaching their study goals. Your progress is monitored in class and through regular personal tutorials with your teachers.

All of our English language courses are accredited by the British Council. This not only guarantees that all of our teachers have the appropriate qualifications, but also ensures that you receive the highest quality of teaching as you develop your English language skills.

Help from day one

INTO staff can meet you at the airport when you arrive in the UK and provide transport from all major airports to your INTO accommodation. The dedicated Student Services team is your first point of contact for any non-academic issue.

Visa workshops

Visa workshops will be held throughout the year and individual appointments will be made available for you if you require specific advice. Once you arrive at the Centre, Student Services will provide information, support and guidance on renewing your student visa, as well as issue any documentation you may need to support your visa application.

Supervision for students under the age of 18

During lesson time, students’ attendance is monitored by their class tutors as well as the Centre’s designated welfare officer. Any absences are followed up within an hour the register is taken.

Outside of lesson hours, students are unsupervised but advised to follow Code of Conduct in their Student Handbook as well as the U18 policy, which is given on arrival. In case of emergency, students are advised to call the Centre’s 24/7 emergency phone line and a member of Student Services Team will be able to assist. If living in INTO managed accommodation or Homestay, students have access to support from residential wardens or homestay hosts respectively.

Support for students with disabilities

A confidential service for students is available offering advice on disabilities such as dyslexia, sensory impairments, and mobility and medical conditions. For further details please contact the INTO student services team.

Support 24/7

Support services are available round-the-clock. The INTO Centre reception is open during business hours, and out-of-hours support is provided via a phone line offering assistance in the event of an emergency. The emergency phone is manned by INTO London staff and can provide urgent assistance outside of business hours.
