Education

Our teachers understand your needs and will work with you to improve your language and academic skills. You’ll be fully prepared to start learning at university and will cover all the basic groundwork for your chosen degree subject.

By the time you finish your INTO course, you’ll be much more confident in your English, research and writing skills. Your fellow students will all learn with you – you’re not alone! Your teachers will guide you and small class sizes mean more one-to-one support.

Student services

We’ll help to make your transition to university as smooth as possible. With our support, you’ll adjust to the learning style in the UK and develop all the study skills you need to succeed.

You’ll have a personal tutor who you can go to for academic advice throughout your studies. Our friendly support staff will help you to settle in and are there to help if you have any issues or questions.

The University provides:

Housing services

Your accommodation will play a big part in your student experience while studying in the UK. In student residences you'll live alongside UK and international students. All residences have communal areas so you can make friends and socialise whenever you like.

Student Life

Campus life

The University has three campuses – Francis Close Hall and The Park in Cheltenham and Oxstalls in Gloucester. The campus you’ll be based on depends on the subject you’re studying. Each campus has a refectory, bar, library, IT helpdesk, teaching rooms and accommodation. There’s a Student’s Union bar on all three campuses where you can attend and run your own social events. You’ll find a chaplain and faith centre on each campus to support your wellbeing and provide a place for worship and prayer.

Sports facilities

There are over 35 sports clubs available to join and over 80 activities to try, including ballet, martial arts, basketball and American football. Whether you’re an accomplished athlete or a complete beginner, you’ll find a sport for you. It’s a great way to make new friends, too!At the Oxstalls campus, you’ll find a gym, all-weather pitch, sports hall and fitness studio. You’ll also have access to the facilities at Oxstalls Sports Park and Leisure @ Cheltenham. The Park campus has a sports field where you can play football, rugby and other outdoor sports.
