Career and Recruitment Services arrange work placements and other job opportunities for students. They are also a contact channel between employers and students and help students in career planning and finding employment. Career and Recruitment Services also arrange various events and training relating to employment and career planning.
You can book an appointment with Career and Recruitment Services for individual career planning or job application guidance. You can also send your job application and CV to Career and Recruitment Services for comments.
Student Union Klaani looks after the interest of Kyamk students and provides services. Klaani represents the student perspective in various Kyamk bodies and working groups. Klaani is also in charge of granting extra printing credits (subject to a charge).
KyAMK guarantees accommodation in student dormitories and hostels for all accepted applications submitted within the given dead-lines.
The Library and Learning Technology Services of South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences provides library services as well as education and support in web-based teaching and learning technology. Our services are mainly intended for the students and staff of the Kymenlaakso and Mikkeli Universities of Applied Sciences operating in Kotka, Kouvola, Mikkeli, and Savonlinna.
Student health care is part of the public health work carried out by the local health centres. Public health nurses have regular consulting hours at the University of Applied Sciences or at some other specified location. You will be informed about the consulting hours at the beginning of your studies.
Kymenlaakso is a region in south-east Finland, with approx. 182,000 inhabitants. Klaani is the parent organisation for various independent student associations. The associations promote local student culture by arranging various events, happenings and parties.
