Student services

SNHU enrolls around 4,000 students with over 900 international students from more than 70 countries, which offers students endless opportunities to meet other students from a variety of cultures and backgrounds. SNHU’s campus facilities and resources make it convenient for students to access everything they need during their program.

Housing services

For undergraduates, SNHU offers on-campus housing in a wide variety of formats — from traditional residence hall rooms with two students sharing one room, to a variety of apartment-style accommodations in six-person suites and four-person townhouses. And our International Admission office works with graduate students to explore housing options both on- and off-campus.

New England Association of Schools and CollegesSouthern New Hampshire University is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Inc., (NEASC) through its Commission on Institutions of Higher Education (CIHE).All programs offered by SNHU are encompassed by this regional accreditation.

The Commission on Institutions of Higher Education of the New England Association of Schools and Colleges is the regional accreditation agency for colleges and universities in the six New England states: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. NEASC's Commission on Institutions of Higher Education (CIHE) is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as a reliable authority on the quality of education for the institutions it accredits. Recognition by the Department of Education provides access to federal financial aid for U.S. students attending institutions accredited by the Commission.

SNHU's Bachelor of Science (BS) in Hospitality Administration is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Programs in Hospitality Administration.

New Hampshire State Department of Education for Teacher Certification

SNHU's undergraduate and graduate education degrees are approved by the New Hampshire State Department of Education for Teacher Certification.

National Association for Sport and Physical Education (NASPE) and North American Society for Sport Management (NASSM)

SNHU's undergraduate and graduate Sport Management programs have been approved jointly by NASPE and NASSM, specialized sport accreditation.

Seeking Accreditation:

Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)

Our online nursing programs were created based on Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education accreditation requirements. SNHU is a provisional member of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing is currently a CCNE candidate for this specialized accreditation.

Commission on Sport Management Accreditation (COSMA)

SNHU sport programs are currently a candidate for additional specialized accreditation from the Commission on Sport Management Accreditation (COSMA).
