History

Flinders University, commonly referred to as simply Flinders, is a public university in Adelaide, South Australia. Founded in 1966, it was named in honour of navigator Matthew Flinders, who explored and surveyed the South Australian coastline in the early 19th century. It has achieved in innovative research, in high quality teaching and in community engagement.

The Flinders University Student Association (FUSA) are responsible for, or help organise, student social events and services, including:

  • publishing the student magazine Empire Times.
